Lead Pastor
Pastor Brian Hood leads our church with a true servants heart. Starting with his own home, Pastor Brian serves, leads, and loves God first and foremost. And through this, he is an honorable husband to his lovely wife, Shan. They both exemplify strong parenthood with each of their children: Donovan, Lily, and Paige. Thanks to Shan’s dedication, Brain is able to make time to serve his church family as well. He strives to learn and love his sheep so that he can lead them. He always encourages his membership to let us struggle together so we fulfill God’s call to love one another. Pastor Brian is a humble, honest leader who loves the Lord, his family, and Community Point.
Team Leader for Kids
Mrs. Ann Burton is the wife of Mitch Burton. She is a loving mother and grandmother and has a heart for children. Mrs. Ann has a wonderful knack for thinking of fun crafts and lessons that point our kids to the Lord. Each Sunday, our kids enjoy learning about God and are able to recall what they learn afterwards. Mrs. Ann allows God to use her gentle patience and fun-loving spirit to serve our kids with excellency!
Team Leader for Youth
Ms. Heather Austin is a sweet, lovely sister in Christ and is beloved by her church family. She is a devoted mother of three. Ms. Heather is a true example of a Christ follower. She is always studying the Word and lives it out as best she can. She loves being able to serve wherever she can, especially with our youth. Ms. Heather teaches our youth with a loving spirit and they are always excited to meet together. She leads them not just in learning God’s Word but also in praying and living out what they learn. Our youth also look for ways to serve just as Ms. Heather does. She is a truly devoted believer with a kind, down-to-earth spirit that gives our youth an example to follow.
Bookkeeper
Mrs. Raquel Worden has served as the church bookkeeper since 2021. She loves the Lord and does His work with a spirit of excellency. She works with a servant’s heart and is truly a rock star! She keeps our finances organized and transparent, always making sure we have a clear picture of where our money is going, which gives everyone peace of mind. She is great at explaining complex financial information in a way that even non-finance people can understand. Raquel is always available to answer questions and provide support when we need it, making the financial side of church operations feel smooth. Her commitment to ethical practices ensures that our tithes and donations are used responsibly.
